Singapore's Certificate of Entitlement (COE) market witnessed a downward trend in the first bidding exercise for June 2026, with Category A breaking below the psychological $100,000 barrier for the first time in two months.
The most significant movement came from Category A COEs, designated for smaller cars and electric vehicles. Prices dropped by an impressive $5,502 to settle at $96,999. This category covers petrol-powered cars with engines up to 1,600cc and under 130 horsepower, along with electric vehicles producing no more than 110kW of power.
Larger vehicles in Category B also saw relief at the pumps - figuratively speaking - with premiums decreasing by $3,988 to close at $113,000. These COEs apply to more powerful internal combustion engine vehicles exceeding 1,600cc or 130hp output.
